Community Foundation of Calhoun County Scholarships

The Community Foundation of Calhoun County is offering scholarships again this year. You must go online to www.yourcommunityfirst.org to review the scholarship applications and apply online and to review the scholarships that are available for Oxford High School students. The Mary Katherine "Katy" Williamson Scholarship and the Evans Litigation Scholarship (new) are both available for our OHS students. Be sure to follow the scholarship guidelines and application procedures. Application deadline: February 1, 2012! Applications are also available in Ms. Knight's office.

James M. Hoffman Scholarship

Reminder: Review the previous post for the James M. Hoffman Scholarship. Applicants must be seniors attending high school in Calhoun County; have a 2.0 or higher GPA; must be without financial means or other assistance to obtain college education without undue hardships on themselves or their parents. Turn in application to Ms. Knight no later than February 1, 2012! Applications available in Ms. Knight's office.

UA Department of Art and Art History Scholarship Competition

Applicants must be incoming freshmen majoring in Studio Art or Art History at The University of Alabama. Application deadline: February 3, 2012! 2012 PDK Prospective Educator Scholarship

The PDK Educational Foundation annually awards scholarships to prospective educators. The scholarship is for high-school seniors who intend to attend college and major in education and whose application is submitted to the local PDK Chapter for consideration.
